Forgiveness as my shield, bringing inner peace.


Throughout the year, I bore a burden of anguish deep,

For I stood alone, devoid of solace or company to keep. Insecurity drove some away, while others found their own way, Leaving me adrift, with heartache's bitter sway.

I sought to heal, to mend my shattered soul, But my efforts, alas, took a heavy toll. The echoes of my cries, resounding loud and clear, A pain unseen, unfathomed by those near.

For the bonds of friendship, once cherished and dear, You scorned and mocked, filling my heart with fear. Betrayed by deceit, a wound too deep to mend, May Allah's mercy find you, and may your soul amend.

But amidst the trials, a silver lining did appear, Caring souls emerged, drawing me near. Opportunities abound, waiting to be embraced, The separation brought me closer to Allah's grace.

Now I pray, never to cross paths again, With hearts like yours, tainted by disdain. May my path be filled with blessings anew, And distance forever keeps me from you.

Upon my stair wall, pictures once adorned, Now gone, like you, from life you have been shorn. Insecurity veiled your every gaze, But too late, I learned your artful ways. A reflection, too dim to apprehend, I wish I'd known you better, my dear friend. Insecurities, pretense, and disguise, With hollow smiles, you covered your lies.
